At Green Ares and Force Free Pets, we are keenly aware that we have clients who celebrate a variety of holidays in December, which is why we say, “Happy Holidays!” Whether you celebrate a specific holiday, all of them, or none of them, we wish you good tidings and peace.

I also want to use this opportunity to remind you that Green Acres and ForceFreePets are truly a team effort. Paula and I want to thank our team: Addison, both Ashleys (if one is good, two are even better!), Brenda, Caleb, Cristina, Gus, Lauren, Lindsay, Nicole, Paige, and Sage. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to making Green Acres our guests’ “Home Away from Home.”

Sometimes illness gets in the way of things, and I am fortunate to have a team that can pick up the slack when I’m not feeling well. I hurt my back the day before Thanksgiving and have been limited in my activities until I started feeling better this week. That’s why you’re getting a holiday greeting via email and Facebook this year instead of the US Postal Service.

19th Annual Green Acres Appeal for Hungry Pets – The Eastern Area Agency on Aging Furry Friends Food Bank is a favorite charity because it serves the needs of both people and their furry companions. Over the past year, the FFFB served an average of 350 older adults and their pets every single month. These are wonderfully kind people living on a fixed income who, without help from the Furry Friends Food Bank, would have to decide between buying food for themselves or food for their precious furry companion. Your cash donation to the FFFB helps them buy food from Green Acres at our cost, so 100% of your donation goes toward feeding pets. The easiest way to help is to click on the QR code and donate. Thank you!
