DON: – Who Can You Trust When Looking for Accurate Information About Your Pet? Sadly, far too many people trust the information they find online, either via Google, Facebook, TikTok, or YouTube. Even though a television ad from 2015 from an insurance company tried to teach us, and I quote, “Just because it’s on the internet doesn’t mean it’s true.” Too often, the online influencer is today’s version of the patent medicine man of the 1800s or the carnival con artist trying to sell you a “half-price, today only” something that is anything but a good value. While these influencers may be able to sell ice at the North Pole, that doesn’t mean they are ethical, reputable, knowledgeable, or really have you and your pets’ best interests at heart. After the break, I’ll list some resources you can trust.
